Alder Hey secured a significant award from the NIHR to establish a new research focussed MRI scanner within the hospital. This is available to support clinical, academic, and industry-led research studies requiring high-quality imaging in a live healthcare setting.
Research across the life course is supported with children, young people and adults all being eligible for scans.
