Our dermatology service cares for children with common and uncommon dermatological (skin) conditions. We deliver a range of specialist clinics to support children with all dermatological conditions.
We offer appointments for various clinics daily including some early/late appointments for our nurse clinics giving flexibility to families and reduce the need for children to miss time at school.
Common Treatments include:
- Phototherapy (TL01 UVB Narrowband)
- Iontophoresis (Hand, Foot, Axillae Hyperhidrosis)
- Hand & Foot PUVA (commonly for eczema and psoriasis)
- Wart/Verrucae/Molluscum Contagiosum (topical and swift microwave treatment)
- Viscopaste PB7/Zipzoc bandaging (commonly for eczema treatment)
- Topical short contact Dithranol treatment for Psoriasis
- Hidradenitis suppurativa
- Roaccutane treatment (acne)
- Minor Surgery (biopsies, removal of lesions)
- Immunosuppressant drug monitoring
- Propranolol treatment (Infantile haemangioma)
- Biologic treatment for eczema, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa
