What do I bring to this role?
I have over 35 years of Leadership experience, 23 of which have been in General Management roles across the UK. I have over 15 years of Chair and Board Experience, and currently sit on the LHA & Club Liverpool Boards and was a Trustee at Blackpool Carers Centre for 8 years.
I am ambitious and tenacious, and have excellent commercial knowledge and strong leadership skills. I’m innovative in approach, and have a proven track record in motivation and team building skills helping to deliver solid results. I am a good people person and therefore networking comes naturally as does facilitating groups to connect and collaborate.
Not only am I passionate about engaging and working with the local community but I have a very personal connection with Alder Hey as my 19 year old daughter received treatment there when she broke her back in 2013 and my now 18 year old twin daughters underwent multiple operations and treatment for a genetic growth disorder over the last 6 years. I have spent many nights staying with them so know as a parent about the care that Alder Hey offers.
