Sheikh Waddah Saleh, an Iman from Abdullah Quilliam Mosque (the oldest Mosque in the UK), joined us to say prayer. Afterwards, colleagues from across the Trust, as well as children, young people, and their families, joined us break the day’s fast and share some delicious food.


During this lunar month, Muslims refrain from eating and drinking from sunrise to sunset, each day for the entire month.
At sunset, the meal known as ‘Iftar’ is a celebration for having successfully completed the fast for the sake of Allah.
