From Monday 31st October 2022, some of Alder Hey’s clinics and departments will run from our new Catkin Building (adjacent to the Institute in the Park, just off Eaton Road).
The services that will run from here are as follows:
- ASD
- ADHD
- Developmental Paediatrics
- Liverpool CAMHS*
- Eating Disorder Services
- Crisis Care Team
*please note, appointments with Liverpool CAMHS could be at Innovation Park, Edge Lane or Catkin, Alder Hey. Your appointment letter will confirm the location of the appointment.
Clinics will run from 9am-5pm, with some later appointments by arrangement. There is a dedicated car park for those with appointments at the new Catkin Building, as outlined in the map below.

Pedestrians, or those arriving via public transport, should access the site via Eaton Road or East Prescot Road and follow the wayfinding signs to the Catkin Building. Should you need any assistance, our volunteers will be happy to help – just look out for anyone in a pink shirt. Watch the below video for a tour of the new Catkin Building from our wonderful Forum!
All of those affected by this change will be informed via letter, which will include confirmation of the change of location and how to get there. There will also be a contact number for any queries you may have regarding your appointment.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to our brand new Catkin Building!
Through funding from our Charity, we have been able to ensure that the environment is child friendly and comfortable. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make this happen. For more information on how you can support Alder Hey, go to our Charity website.
