Service fees

Alder Hey International 2nd Opinion Service Fees

As of 1st August 2022, the Service Fees are as follows

Consultation Fee/Service Fee        

  • £500 per consultation – Single Specialist
  • £1083 per consultation – Multi Disciplinarity (Maximum of 3 Specialists)

Tailored Treatment Plan        

  • On case-by-case basis

Interpreter Fees

  • Verbal Interpreter – £1.00 per minute
  • Sign Language – £1.50 per minute

Consultation/Service Fees, shall be paid in advance of scheduled Consultation

All payments are made in GBP via secure online payment system BACS or by credit/debit card. Please use your own ‘surname’ as the reference, followed by the following numbers 917614.

Invoice and receipt will be issued via our finance department.

Alternatively, you can telephone +44 151 293 3699 between the hours of 9.00am – 16.30pm UK time, Monday to Friday to process a card payment. Please note the office cannot take payments on a Thursday between 12noon – 13.00pm.

Interpreter Fees: Will be payable after Consultation – a payment request will be emailed to you, following your completed consultation. Payment is to be paid by the same method you paid for the consultation.

Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations of a scheduled appointment, will incur an administration fee of 75% of the consultation fee. Refund – will be made via original payment method.
