We are now providing a service that offers you a secure video consultation with a clinician from the comfort and privacy of your own home. We are using a digital platform called ‘Attend Anywhere’ to provide this service. All you need is a device for making video calls and an internet connection.
We know that normal face-to-face appointments cannot always happen during the lockdown. Video appointments will allow us to provide quality care whilst keeping staff and families safe and sticking to social distancing rules.
For a video appointment you would need:
Your clinician will decide if you are suitable for a video appointment. They will send you details of the appointment date and time by letter.
One day before your appointment you will receive a reminder text with a link to an online ‘waiting room’, from here your clinician will invite you into the video appointment.
It is important that we have the correct mobile number of the patient’s lead carer. If you need to update your personal details please call 0151 252 5358.
Once the online consultation is complete, you will be directed to an online survey. We would appreciate any feedback.
If you have any difficulty connecting to your appointment please call the patient helpline on 0151 282 4907 / 0151 252 5374.
If you have an outpatient appointment you need to change, please call the Appointment Booking Office on 0151 252 5358 or request an appointment change online. If you need to rearrange an appointment scheduled for today, you will need to call us on 0151 252 5358.
