Attend Anywhere is a secure service that offers patients a video consultation with a clinician from the comfort and privacy of their own home. All you need is a device for making video calls and an internet connection.
We know that normal face-to-face appointments cannot always happen during the lockdown. Video appointments will allow us to provide quality care whilst keeping staff and families safe and sticking to social distancing rules.
For a video appointment you would need:
- A smartphone, tablet or computer with a webcam and speaker (most devices have webcam and speaker built in).
- An internet connection.
- The ‘Google Chrome’ or ‘Safari’ web browser (Attend Anywhere will not work on Internet Explorer). Both can be downloaded for free.
- Somewhere private, away from noise and distractions, so that you can clearly hear the clinician during your consultation
Your clinician will decide if you are suitable for a video appointment. They will send you details of the appointment date and time by letter.
One day before your appointment you will receive a reminder text with a link to an online ‘waiting room’, from here your clinician will invite you into the video appointment.
It is important that we have the correct mobile number of the patient’s lead carer. If you need to update your personal details please call 0151 252 5358.
Once the online consultation is complete, you will be directed to an online survey. We would appreciate any feedback.
