Alder Hey to introduce sleep support service

The Community and Mental Health Division are delighted to introduce a sleep support service in partnership with The Sleep Charity.

The division are interested to see what benefit this service can offer children, young people and their families. There are limited places available and we can therefore only offer it on a first come first serve basis.

Children or young people under the care of the Alder Hey Developmental Paediatric or Community Mental Health Services are eligible for this pilot. The service can also support your child reduce the need for sleep medicines.

If you would like to participate, please contact sleep@alderhey.nhs.uk (preferred) or the team your child is under(Developmental paediatric or Community mental health). Please provide the following:

  • Your Child’s Name
  • Your Name
  • Address
  • Childs Date of birth
  • Child’s Hospital number (you’ll find this on any recent correspondence from Alder Hey)
  • Your telephone number (mobile telephone preferred)
  • Your email address

By contacting us you agree for your details to be passed onto The Sleep Charity. You will receive a letter from the team if you have secured a place to receive sleep support.
