Could you be a Governor of Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust? Every year we care for over 270,000 children, young people and their families and we lead research into children’s medicines, infection, inflammation and oncology.
We moved to our new Alder Hey in the Park in early October 2015.
We know that a children’s hospital is different and that our job is more than just treating an illness. At Alder Hey we are here to look after a child and their family and that includes mums, dads, brothers and sisters.
We treat everything from common illnesses to highly complex and specialist conditions from our main hospital site in Liverpool and across community sites and clinics throughout the North West.
Being a Governor at Alder Hey provides an opportunity to be an ambassador for the Trust, to influence how decisions are made and services are developed, to have your voice heard and represent the views of others.
We are now holding elections in the following constituencies:
A nomination form to stand for election to these positions can be obtained from the Returning Officer in the following ways:
The deadline for completed nomination forms is 5pm on Monday 19 December 2016.
To stand as a Governor you will need to a member of the Trust. If you are not already a member you can register to be member here.
Please make sure you are registered by Monday 19 December 2016.
