From Tuesday 22nd May, you will notice that the Alder Hey website has changed.
Our old website needed updating and so, along with our patients, families, staff and other stakeholders we have developed a modern, easy to navigate and attractive new home for all things Alder Hey.
What’s new?
The site’s design has been updated, removing the clutter and introducing a more modern, simplified navigation menu – making it easier for you to find what you’re looking for.
We’ve also improved the site’s search process, clearly separating results between web pages and files, making your search quicker and easier.
It’s now easier for health professionals to get what they need from the site, too, with access to the NHS e-Referral service just two clicks away from the homepage.
All in all, this new site will be easier to use, from finding out the latest news from Alder Hey to applying for a vacancy and everything in between.
Don’t panic!
The website address remains exactly the same - www.alderhey.nhs.uk – and anyone trying to find our new site using an older link will still come to the right place.
Not everyone will be able to view the new site immediately; it can take up to 24 hours for internet providers to recognise the new site, so don’t panic if you can’t see it just yet.
All key information for patients and visiting parents can still easily be found such as finding your way around the hospital, local facilities and patient information leaflets.
Have a look around and see what you think!
