Are you an experienced Theatre Practitioner in Scrub, Anaesthetics or Recovery and looking for a new challenge?
As a world leader in healthcare and research, we have built something amazing – a brand new Alder Hey in the Park, a hospital for children, designed and inspired by children. We care for 275,000 young patients a year and safely perform over 13,000 surgical procedures.
We are a dedicated paediatric trauma centre and regional neonatal surgical centre, children from all over the UK and the world visit Alder Hey for specialist treatment.
We currently have 12 inpatient theatres, which incorporates a busy emergency theatre that runs 24/7 so weekend and twilight would form part of your shift pattern along with full on-call commitment.
Our specialities include cardiac surgery, spinal surgery, orthopaedic surgery, ENT, Ophthalmic surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery and Interventional Radiology.
We also have a very busy day surgery unit comprising of a further four theatres and a treatment room.
We are now looking to expand our dedicated team by recruiting motivated, dynamic practitioners who are committed to delivering excellent patient care.

Due to our expanding services, and new innovative procedures we are recruiting new staff, as part of our selection process we are holding an open evening on Thursday 12th October 2017 from 6.30pm giving people who may an interested in a career with us.
You will be given the opportunity to meet the team, have a tour of the department and ask any questions that you may have, refreshments will be provided. During the open evening we will also provide information regarding the vacancies we have available and give you the opportunity to apply for these roles during the session.
Following submission of an application, our management team will review each application and shortlist. Should your application be shortlisted you will be invited to attend an interview on Friday 27th October 2017 or Tuesday 31st October 2017.
