The Tissue Viability Solutions for Paediatrics education day aims to provide insight into some of the issues faced within the speciality of tissue viability in the paediatric population.
Tissue Viability within paediatrics can often feel like the “forgotten” speciality, with few educational events focussing on this particularly vulnerable client group. Infants, children and young people are at risk within the sphere of tissue viability of being viewed as “small adults” with educational packages, assessment tools and products predominantly focussed on tissue viability issues facing the adult population.
The National Paediatric Tissue Viability Network in association with Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust and with industry, are keen to establish educational events to support clinicians who manage children with tissue viability needs and help improve outcomes for their patients who often require a different approach and alternative solutions to achieve this.
The day will be run by an expert team of specialists all of whom either work within this field of practice or whom have developed a particular interest in the topic.
This is a free event for all Healthcare Professionals.
We would like to thank our partners from industry who have agreed to support this event and work collaboratively with us to improve quality within Tissue Viability for Paediatrics.
