The workshops were facilitated by Alder Hey's Consultant Paediatrician, Dr Jamuna Acharya, and Dr Deepak Upadhyay, from Cumbria Partnership Foundation Trust.
These were followed by a stakeholders meeting in Kathmandu. This is part of an ongoing child protection training program, supported by So the Child May Live (STCML) and Health Exchange Nepal (HeXN), and organized by the Nepal Paediatric Society (NEPAS). It is hoped that this will help to recruit more support for effective child protection processes in hospitals in Nepal and more widely in the country as a whole.
A stake holders meeting was also organized at Kanti Children’s Hospital.
