Since we re- launched the Forum, we now have an official name which is ‘The Forum@AlderHey’ and have created our own strapline: “inspired by children, a voice for all”.
We have chosen a bright new uniform, so we can stand out and be noticed.
We have the privilege of having our new Executive Member, Lisa Cooper, being an active part of The Forum@Alderhey.
We also are recruiting for our parents group at The Forum@Alderhey.
The mission of our parents' group is to bring the voice and perspective of parents and families about their hospital experience. Members of the Family Forum work to promote the practice of family-centred care, advocating for children and their families to be full partners in their medical care, and to help with the hospital's ongoing commitment to improve quality and patient safety at Children’s Hospital.
If you are Parents, guardians, and adult primary caregivers of children who receive care at Alder hey Children’s Hospital you are welcome to join. Adults who received care for a long-term or chronic condition as children at Alder Hey Children's Hospital may also apply.
We look forward to meeting you all.
