Whilst at Alder Hey, you will no doubt need to access and use our atrium space and so it is important to know about all the facilities we have available.
Our concierge desk should be your first point of call for all enquiries. They are situated in the middle of the atrium and are open Monday to Friday from 8am till 8pm, Saturday from 8.30am till 3pm and Sunday 11am till 4pm.
Our wonderful volunteers are here to help you find your way around and answer any queries you may have. They will be wearing a pink t-shirt and a great big smile!
Our treetops restaurant is based in the atrium - our restaurant service times:
Breakfast 7.30 – 10.30 Lunch 11.45 – 2.00 Supper Service 3.45 – 6.45
A selection of hot and cold beverages, sandwiches and snacks are available from 7.30am to 7.00pm
We offer a wide selection of different options to cover our customers dietary needs during our service, however if there is anything specifically needed, our customers can speak to a member of the Restaurant team who will gladly ask the chef what can be provided (this includes Halal, Kosher and other dietary requests).
Alder Hey Children’s Charity has raised over £20m in vital funding to support Alder Hey but still needs your support. Call in to see them, as their shop is based on the atrium where you can find out about fundraising opportunities, upcoming charity events, how to make a donation or choose from a selection of charity shop gifts.
Our cash office is based in the atrium near the car park entrance. They can help with queries about travel expenses.
You can pay for parking using the token you received when entering the multi-storey car park and paying via the yellow machines near the car park entrance and opposite the cash office.

We will often have performances and musicians in our performance space which has been funded by Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
