Our appointment clinics are normally held on weekdays. and at Alder Hey in the Park you will use our electronic outpatient check-in system.
When you arrive at the hospital you will need to check in using our electronic outpatient check-in machines. These can be found near to all the entrances to the hospital. Instructions are below but if you need help checking in, please ask at our concierge reception desk (located opposite the car park) or approach one our volunteers who will be in pink/Grey tops.
Please note you will only be able to check-in up till 30 minutes before your appointment.
Follow the onscreen instructions on our check-in machines.
Once you have completed your check in the machine will direct you straight to your clinic area.
Make your way directly to the area and let the receptionist know that you have arrived.
Before your appointment, you might need to have some tests like checking your weight or having an X-ray. The screens in the waiting areas will tell you where to go for these.
If you have an outpatient appointment you need to change, please call the Appointment Booking Office on 0151 252 5358 or request an appointment change online. Please note, if you were referred by your GP and your new appointment was booked on-line via the e-Referral system (formerly known as Choose and Book), please contact the National Helpline to re-arrange your appointment on - 0345 608 8888. If you need to rearrange an appointment scheduled for today, you will need to call us on 0151 252 5358.
