Inpatient Surgery

The Surgical Admission Lounge aims to provide a pleasant and caring space for children and young people who attend on the day of surgery for inpatient theatres.  SAL is a comfortable waiting area where you can meet your Surgeon, Anaesthetist, Nurses and Health Care Assistant before the operation.
The waiting area will be able to deliver room for play, distraction techniques and preoperative preparation.
At present Inpatient Theatres comprises 12 theatres plus the MRI Room.
